2005 has been a GREAT year for Highcroft!!! ∙ Sales of New Homes in Highcroft continue their record breaking pace. In 2005, 110 buyers chose to invest over $49 Million Dollars on custom built homes for their families. ∙ The final phase of the Shires and the Manors opened in 2005 and the sales have been brisk. The Highcroft Builder Team plans to start homes on all of these home sites prior to the end of 2006. Their goal is to continue giving home buyers a great selection of new homes from which to choose. ∙ Highcroft Elementary School located in the heart of our neighborhood completed their 1st year of operation in the spring of 2005. With a score of 99.2%, Highcroft Elementary School ranked highest of all elementary schools in Wake County in the North Carolina ABCs of public education program. Highcroft was also recognized by the state as a School of Excellence for exceeding all educational goals for the year. ∙ 16 Acre Sears Farm Road Park, Cary’s newest neighborhood park opened to rave reviews. This heavily landscaped wooded park features an interactive sculpture, play structure, play fields, rest rooms, covered picnic area, walking trails and a basketball court. ∙ Highcroft Swim Team completed their inaugural season with over 50 swimmers. With all the new families, the Highcroft Hurricanes are expecting to more than double their size in 2006. ∙ The Town of Cary has started construction of the USA Baseball National Training Center located in Thomas Brooks Park adjacent to Highcroft. Thomas Brooks Park is a Cary regional park featuring soccer fields and lighted baseball fields.
